March | Beauty Favorites

March is already over!

I'm sorry if this post is a little bit rushed and short compared to my others, but I really didn't wear that much makeup this past month.

When I did wear eye makeup, I was always wearing my Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. I love the shades Peanut Butter, Mousse, and Puddin'. They're great transition shades to give you some good depth in the creases of your eyelids. When I wanted to have a little bit more of a dramatic look, I used Rum Raisin all over my lids and Licorice to smoke out my outer V and lower lash line.

My favorite mascara this month was definitely my Roller Lash by Benefit. I love the brush and the formula of this mascara! It's the only one I've used that makes me have lower lashes and gives a little flare to my lashes without haing to curl them.

The only product I seemed to use on my brows this past month has been my tried and true Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown. I love this little pot of brows so much! It gives me one of the most natural looks. All I use is a thin angeled brush from BH Cosmetics and dip it in to sculpt out my brows.  A lot of makeup artists wipe off the tip before applying but I've found that if you don't put too much product onto your brush there's no need for that.

I tried out some new foundations this month, but the one I've really loved is Maybelline's new Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation in the shade Natural Beige 220. My skin has been super weird this past winter, from oily to dry and back again, but this gave me no dry patches on my face and really did blur out my pores. It also keeps its promise of being matte. I wore this for over 12 hours on one of my longer days at school and work and it looked just as flawless at the end of my day as it did when I first applied it. This is one of the best drug store foundations I've ever tried.

For lips I've been playing it really casual and just wearing nudes. My favorite nude combination is by Too Faced, their Melted Liquid Lipstick in Nude and the matching lip liner. This gives you a nice velvety finish and comes off more of that "greige" color everyone's been loving lately. When I want more of a bolder statement lip I like to pair my Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in 1995 with NYX Cosmetic's Slim Lip Liner in Brown. This gives you that perfect 90's grunge look that still makes you look pretty neutral but trendy.

Aside from beauty favorites ... Who has been hooked on The Walking Dead? I loved this last half of season 5! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! I become so emotionally invested in these characters and storylines haha. I can't believe the finale has already passed, but that was a fantastic finale, with over 15 million viewers! I can't wait for Fear The Walking Dead this summer. At least I won't have to go through too much withdrawal.

What were your favorites this month? Let me know!

P.S. Thanks for all the love on my instagram! You guys are the best!
