Ulta Haul

5:47 PM

Sorry for the lack of posting, but I had a mountain pile of homework to catch up on and had to stop at the Genius Bar to get my MacBook looked at for some storage solutions.

Anyway, I stopped at Ulta when they had their 20% event for cardholders during the weekend and finally got my hands on the Naked Basics 2 palette! I played around getting this because I don't care for much about the original Naked Basics, but I do really love this palette already! I've only used it a couple of times this past week, but it is the perfect neutral palette for everyday! Plus, you can hardly ever get the higher-end products with promos or coupons, so I thought this was a pretty good deal.

This palette is SUPER PIGMENTED as all Urban Decay shadows are. UD is probably my favorite eye shadow brand and I love the Naked collection, but they really outdid themselves on this one.

And speaking of good deals; they had NYX Cosmetics BOGO 50% off. I love NYX, especially their lip products, but have never tried out their lip liners. I like that whole nude-brown, 90's lip color that's been going around and picked up these 5. They are so inexpensive too! They're only $3.49, and come in a huge variety of shades. I own a ton of lip liners, but since getting these they are the only ones I've been using, even with a red or bright pink lip.

My favorites are Mahogany, Natural, and Nude Beige. Mahogany hits right at home with the whole Kylie Jenner lip color. Natural is great by itself or with a nude lipstick. Nudge Beige is what I think would be best with Lime Crime's Cashmere Velvetine. It's the only lip liner I've come across that's more cool tone and gray. I use it with Gerard Cosmetic's Buttercup lipstick, or even just on its own.

XOXO
