And to think that yet another year has passed us. 2014 has a wild mixture of painful and yet endearing memories. At the moment, the only great things I can think of that happened in 2014 is the birth of my nephew, Cole, and meeting my best friends at my summer job, and being accepted to Rider University for their communications program. 

This is my new quote for the year. I feel like every couple of years, it's like I reset myself and lose friends and have to start all over again. I'll leave it at that for now, because I'm not really sure where I stand with some people. Life's too short to be chasing after people that aren't giving me the time of day anyway. So for every goodbye I say, I hope there's a wonderful, new hello. 

I'm not sure what the new year will bring, but hopefully it's a little better than the last. I'm going to stick to the goals I set for myself, mostly because I realize I'm really not getting any younger, and sooner or later I'm going to have to get my shit together (pardon my French). 

I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions, mainly because I just think of middle-aged moms swearing to go to the gym everyday and kids promising to get better grades in school (neither one ever sticks to it). But every goal I've set for myself, I'm going to work towards it. It may take me a month, or it may take all of 2015, but one way or another, it's going to get done.
