Lena Lashes Review

Gisele Lashes

Hi guys! This post has been long overdue! I bought these lashes weeks and weeks ago during one of their promo sales!

These are the first mink lashes I've ever tried out. Mink lashes have become such a huge deal these past couple of years, and I've never really seen the whole obsession with it until receiving these gorgeous lashes.

A little background information: These lashes are completely cruelty free (as stated on their instagram)! These are also the most affordable mink lashes I've come across online. They range from $20 to $100 ($100 sets come with four pairs of lashes). The average price of a pair of lashes is about $30, which is what my order came to with my half off discount. The website claims they can be used up to 25x, but I definitely think with the right care you'll be able to get much more out of them.

Now, I have very sparse lashes that tend to never hold a curl, so I barely bother with mascara half the time. I love false lashes to give me more of a dramatic look and to give the appearance of lashes; which is why I chose the styles Tina and Gisele

First of all, this company has super fast shipping! It took less than a week and there were absolutely no problems! I love the packaging; it comes with a painted print and a small pink ribbon to help you get the plastic out of its box.

These are the softest lashes I've ever felt, and look so real with the mink hairs. They are so thick yet wispy at the same time to give you more of a natural look. I didn't even use mascara on these when I wore them out, I just popped them on with some dark-tone lash glue.

I snip the ends off, which usually gives me the perfect band length to fit the shape of my eye without looking too long or too short. I sometimes have to trim the inner corner if it looks like it's going to be too much. I do all of this with the same regular scissors that I use to trim my eyebrows.

At first glance I thought I'd hate the band; it looked so thick and noticeable! However, this is the comfiest lash band I've ever worn. The ends aren't pointy and they feel so lightweight on your lids that you forget you're ever wearing lashes. That's one thing I absolutely hate about fake lashes; by the end of the night I'm ready to rip them off! With these I was so sad to take them off.

The application was a dream. I normally use tweezers and it takes me about ten minutes to put lashes on, but I just had to place them once in the center of my lid and gently press the ends down and they were perfect!

I received so many compliments about them, too. I can't wait to order more. I really don't think I'll ever be able to go back to regular lashes again. I love these so much. If you're debating about whether or not you want to try mink lashes out, definitely check Lena Lashes and order a pair for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
